Payments are processed by Stripe, which is the merchant of record - card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout and never reach Qesto. How do I start budgeting?
Give it one month: add your accounts, keep the default categories, set two budgets, schedule your bills and review the month in fifteen minutes. The first-month guide walks you through it.
How is Safe to spend worked out?
What's left of your last income on the accounts you pick, plus income coming, minus bills, taxes and your safety buffer until the next one. The rest is split over the days left. Older money only steps in when you'd run short.
Is Qesto free?
Yes. The free plan never expires and has every core feature. It only limits how many accounts, budgets, labels, templates and recurring rules you keep.
What does Premium add?
No limits on accounts, budgets, labels, templates and recurring rules - see the plan comparison. Premium also warns before an account drops below zero. Every payment comes with a VAT invoice from Link, our payment partner.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
  • Cancel any time in Settings. Premium runs to the end of the paid period.
  • Withdraw within 14 days of buying, in Settings or by writing to support@qesto.app. Lifetime is refunded in full, a subscription minus the days used. Terms in the refund policy.
  • Downgrading deletes nothing. Above the free limits you just can't add more.
Can I import from my bank?
Yes - any CSV your bank exports, or a BudgetBakers Wallet export. You review every row before it's saved. Direct bank connections aren't available yet.
Who can read my transactions?
Payees, notes and descriptions are encrypted with a key from your password - a database copy can't be read without it. Amounts, dates, categories and labels aren't encrypted; they power reports. Stored in the EU. No ads, no data selling.
